Hydogen-ion Concentration
Hydogen-ion Concentration : (Chem; Symb: pH) The degree of acidity or alkalinity of a solution, measured on a scale ranging from 1 to 15. Note: pH is a function of the reciprocal of the hydrogen ion concentration. Strong acids have a pH near 1 and strong bases near 15. Distilled water is neutral and has a pH of 7
