Ammonium Phosphate 4 : A white crystaline compound or powder (N2H9PO4) that is noncombustible and has a low toxicity, and is used for flameproofing wood, paper, and textiles, as the agent in all purpose dry chemical extinguishers, and in coating vegetation to retard wild-land fires.
