State Waters


State Waters : Means: (a) The territorial sea adjacent to the State; (b) The sea on the landward side of the territorial sea adjacent to the State that is not within the limits of the State; (c) Other waters within the limits of the State prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this definition: The Act provides that State Waters consist of the territorial sea from the low water mark seaward for 3 nautical miles as well as those waters prescribed by the Marine Pollution Regulation. The Regulation prescribes the following ports as being State waters (north to south): (1) Yamba; (2) Newcastle; (3) Sydney; (4) Botany Bay; (5) Port Kembla; (6) Eden
