Vector 02
Vector 02 : (Math; Phys) A quantity that has both a magnitude and a direction, in contrast to a scalar quantity, that has only magnitude. A force is an example of a vector quantity, since it depends on direction; mass is an example of a scalar quantity, since it is independent of direction. Note: A vector is depicted graphically as an arrow, called a stroke. Its length indicates the scalar magnitude and its direction the direction of the vector. The tail of the stroke is the origin and the head the terminus
