Axial Tensor, Vector or Scalar

Axial Tensor, Vector or Scalar : A tensor (vector or scalar) object which changes the sign when we change the orientation of a system of co-ordinates from right-handed to the left-handed or vice versa. They do not depend on the co-ordinate system itself. For instance, couple stresses tensor, Levi-Civitta tensor, torque, rotational velocity, and mixed product of basis vectors of the co-ordinate system are axial objects. Many axial objects are related to (see different entries under) rotation. Axial objects sometimes are called pseudo objects. They cannot be equal to polar objects, which do not depend on the orientation of a co-ordinate system
